Shiraz University’s Dr. Hemmateenejad receives International Chemometrics Award


The paper presented by Professor Bahram Hemmateenejad “dependency between principle components: how to determine the rank of a matrix” was presented the Chemometrics awards for 2017 in Hungary.

Dr. Bahram Hemmateenejad is currently a professor of chemistry at Shiraz University whose research is mainly on topics such as development and application of chemometrics methods in drug design, sensor fabrication, chemobilogical interactions, nanomaterials and electrochemistry. He had also received the Elsevier’s chemometrics awards back in 2012 for his eminent role in the development of chemometrics methods.
