According to the public relations office of Shiraz University, citing the Scientometrics Office of the Research and Technology Department of the university, based on a report by the Institute for Scientific and Technological Research of the Islamic World (ISC), 489 Iranian researchers have been recognized as highly cited researchers in the fields of humanities, social sciences, and arts. Among these, nine faculty members are from Shiraz University.

According to this report, Dr. Mohammad Namazi (Professor of Accounting), Dr. Mohammad-Hossein Setayesh (Professor of Accounting), Dr. Bijan Khajeh-Nouri (Associate Professor of Social Sciences), Dr. Asghar Mirfardi (Associate Professor of Social Sciences), Dr. Gholamhossein Mahdavi (Professor of Accounting), Dr. Rahmatollah Marzoughi (Professor of Educational Management and Planning), Dr. Farhad Khormayi (Associate Professor of Educational Psychology), Dr. Mehdi Mohammadi (Professor of Educational Management and Planning), and Dr. Shahram Ebrahimi (Associate Professor of Criminal Law and Criminology) have been recognized as highly cited researchers in the field of humanities.
