For the first time in the country, the Astronomy Entrepreneurs Exhibition was hosted at Shiraz University. According to the public relations office of Shiraz University, the exhibition coincided with the 18th National Astronomy and Astrophysics Conference, aiming to show the activities of entrepreneurs in the fields of astronomy and astrophysics.
The exhibition featured eight organizations: 1. Shiraz Astronomical Company; 2. Shiraz Aseman Optic; 3. Toos Physics Institute; 4. Ava Star Institute; 5. Ava Safar Pars Institute; 6. Zanko Educational Institute; 7. Danesh-Azma Explorers Company; and 8. Abu Rayhan Biruni Observatory of Shiraz University. It took place in the 15 Khordad Sports Hall (next to the Fajr Hall), where astronomy entrepreneurs presented their products in educational, promotional, cultural, and astronomical tourism sectors, including digital planetariums, astronomy education software, telescopes, and astronomical tourism equipment.
According to the head of the Iranian Astronomy Association, this exhibition, being the first of its kind in the country, provides a unique opportunity to strengthen connections between astronomers and highlight the importance of this field participants would have the chance to empirically study the spectrum of some objects and become more familiar with related concepts. This hands-on experience will be a valuable opportunity to enhance analytical and research skills in this area. The national Astronomy Entrepreneurs Exhibition will be held from February 4 to 6 at the 15 Khordad Hall of Shiraz University and is open to all interested participants.
