Elevation of the Iranian Journal of Science at Shiraz University from Q3 to Q2


The Iranian Journal of Science, affiliated with the Faculty of Science at Shiraz University, has been elevated from Q3 to Q2. According to the public relations office of Shiraz University, based on the latest results published in the JCR database, the Iranian Journal of Science, under the editorship of Dr. Gholamhossein Eslamzadeh (professor of Faculty of Science at Shiraz University), has successfully improved its impact factor and ascended to Q2 in the JCR database.

This journal has been in operation since 1971 and has been co-published with Springer since 2016. It currently ranks in Q2 in both the JCR and SJR lists. Before 2023, the journal was previously known as the "Iranian Journal of Science and Technology" but as of the beginning of 2023, it has been renamed to "Iranian Journal of Science." It is noteworthy that the impact factor of this journal for the years 2022 and 2023, under its former name, can be found in the JCR database.
