The University Radio, a collaborative program between Fars Radio and the public relations department of Shiraz University, has been officially founded. According to the public relations office of Shiraz University, the launch ceremony was attended by the Director General of Fars Broadcasting and the university's board of trustees. The University Radio was introduced with the slogan "Echo of Knowledge in the City of Civilization and Culture," and both its poster and website were unveiled.

The program will air twice a week, on Sundays and Tuesdays, from 13:10 to 14:00 via Fars Radio on FM frequency 94 MHz. Archived episodes will be available on the University Radio website at [radio.shirazu.ac.ir] (http://radio.shirazu.ac.ir). The initiative aims to enhance the connection between the university and the community, introducing the university's facilities, capacities, and experts while sharing academic insights and scientific achievements. The first interactive broadcast of Fars Radio and Shiraz University aired live during the major event "Night of Science" on October 25, 2023, receiving enthusiastic responses from the public. Future broadcasts will include university capacities, news, and academic accomplishments.

Dr. Taghavi, the Director of Public Relations at Shiraz University, noted that the internet television and university radio are part of a broader initiative to enhance the university's organizational identity, which has been pursued and established over the past two years.
