Students of Shiraz University have achieved four bronze medals and one diploma of honor in a mathematics competition. According to the public relations report of Shiraz University, during the 46th Student Mathematics Competition organized by the Iranian Mathematical Society, held in May 2024 at Tabriz University, students from Shiraz University succeeded in winning four bronze medals and one diploma of honor.
In this competition, which was supervised by Dr. Amir Peiravi, an assistant professor in the mathematics department at Shiraz University, five students have achieved the following ranks:
- Zahra Karimi (undergraduate student in Mathematics and Applications), Bronze Medal
- Masoud Mirzaei (undergraduate student in Mathematics and Applications), Bronze Medal
- Maryam Anvari Pour (undergraduate student in Mathematics and Applications), Bronze Medal
- Arefeh Ahmadi (undergraduate student in Computer Engineering), Bronze Medal
- Farid Doorandish (undergraduate student in Computer Engineering), Diploma of Honor
