Three Shiraz University Faculty Members Received the National Distinguished Professor Award


Three faculty members of Shiraz University have been awarded the National Distinguished Professor prize.

. According to the University Public Relations liaison, quoting the Ministry of Science and Technology's Public Relations Office, the award ceremony of the National Distinguished Professors was held on Tuesday, May 2, 2023, marking the martyrdom of Shahid Motahari and the Teacher's Day, at Tehran's Shahid Beheshti University. Dr. Zolfigol, Minister of Science, Research and Technology, attended the ceremony.

During the ceremony, fifty-two faculty members from various disciplines throughout the country, were commemorated. Dr. Zahra Riahizamin (Professor of Persian Language and Literature), Dr. Mohammadmehdi Alishahi (Professor of Mechanical Engineering), and Dr. Maryam Kooshki (Professor of Physical Education and Sports Sciences), were the three Shiraz University recipients of the Nation's Distinguished Professor Award.
