پژوهشگاه دانش های بنیادی وزارت علوم با همکاری بنیاد ملی نخبگان، اولین دوره جایزه شهید علیمحمدی برای رساله های دکترای ریاضی را که در سال های 1392 تا 1394 دفاع شده اند، برگزار می کند. به گزارش سرویس پژوهشی ایسنا، رساله هایی در این جایزه شرکت داده می شوند که با تائید سه عضو هیات علمی استادیار به بالا متشکل از استاد راهنما و دو عضو هیات علمی دیگر به عنوان رساله ممتاز شناخته شوند و کتبا توسط استاد راهنما معرفی و مدارک آن ها در سایت پژوهشگاه دانش های بنیادی وزارت علوم تا تاریخ 31 تیرماه 1395 بارگذاری شوند. به گزارش ایسنا، زنده یاد دکتر مسعود علیمحمدی، استاد پایه 22 فیزیک دانشگاه تهران 22 دی ماه 1388 هنگام خروج از منزل خود در اثر انفجار بمبی کنترل از دور که در یک موتورسیکلت به فاصله یک متری از در ورودی منزل به یک درخت بسته شده بود، به شهادت رسید. علیمحمدی که متولد سوم شهریور ماه 1338 بود، پس از اخذ دیپلم از دبیرستان شهریار قلهک در سال 56، تحصیلات کارشناسی خود را در رشته فیزیک در دانشگاه شیراز آغاز کرد و پس از فارغ التحصیلی در سال 64 در دوره کارشناسی ارشد فیزیک دانشگاه صنعتی شریف پذیرفته شد. وی در سال 67 تحصیلات خود را در نخستین دوره دکتری فیزیک نظری دانشگاه صنعتی شریف پی گرفت و در مهر ماه سال 71 به عنوان نخستین دانش آموخته دکتری فیزیک داخل کشور و نخستین دانش آموخته دکتری دانشگاه شریف فارغ التحصیل شد. موضوع رساله دکتری علیمحمدی، مدل های WZNW (از انواع جالب نظریه های همدیس) بر روی سطوح ریسمانی با جینس بالا بود. دکتر علیمحمدی که سالها به عنوان عضو هیات علمی دانشگاه تهران فعالیت داشت، چندین سال عضو هیات ممیزه دانشگاه تهران، عضو شورای پردیس علوم و معاون پژوهشی پردیس تا سال 87 بود. شهید دکتر علیمحمدی در طول سال ها فعالیت علمی و تحقیقاتی خود بیش از 80 مقاله در معتبرترین مجلات علمی جهان به چاپ رسانده و در سال 86 در بیست و یکمین جشنواره بین المللی خوارزمی حائز رتبه دوم پژوهش های بنیادی شده بود. زمینه اصلی تحصیلات و تحقیقات دکتر علیمحمدی، ذرات بنیادی خصوصا نظریه ریسمان و به طور دقیق تر نظریه میدان های همدیس بود. وی مدت چهار سال به عنوان پژوهشگر غیرمقیم در پژوهشکده فیزیک پژوهشگاه دانش های بنیادی فعالیت داشت. دکتر علیمحمدی، خرداد ماه 87 به عنوان یکی از دو نماینده ایران در پروژه سزامی (مرکز تابش سینکروترون برای تحقیقات و علوم کاربردی در خاورمیانه) منصوب شده بود. انتهای پیام
