Shiraz University in the first national position in the World Sustainability Rankings based on the QS Ranking


According to the Public Relations of Shiraz University, in 2023, Shiraz University achieved the top rank among Iranian universities in the global sustainability ranking, associated with the QS ranking system.

Shiraz University, which has achieved a global ranking of 690-681 in the overall 2024 QS ranking system, has got the 731-740 global rank and the top rank among Iranian universities in the recently published sustainability ranking subsystem.

It is worth mentioning that the sustainability ranking, as one of the QS ranking subsystems, evaluates the performance of universities in several indicators across three dimensions: "Environmental Impact" including environmental sustainability and education and research in the environment; "Social Impact" including equality, knowledge exchange, health, and well-being; and "Good Governance". The number of Iranian universities participating in this ranking subsystem has increased from three universities last year to eleven universities this year.
