دانشگاه شیراز؛ میزبان شانزدهمین همایش انجمن زمین شناسی ایران


شانزدهمین همایش انجمن زمین شناسی ایران 14تا16 شهریور امسال در دانشگاه شیرازبرگزار می شود.
این همایش بستر مناسبی را برای هم اندیشی و تبادل نظر در خصوص یافته های نوین پژوهشی و ارائه آخرین نتایج تحقیقات پژوهشگران و اندیشمندان علوم زمین کشور فراهم می نماید.
دستاوردهای پنج ساله تنها قطب علمی زمین شناسی کشور (زمین شناسی زیست محیطی دانشگاه شیراز) هم در طول برگزاری همایش ارائه می گردد.
این قطب علمی دانشگاه شیراز موفق شد در سال 1386 در بین 110 قطب به عنوان قطب علمی برتر کشور انتخاب شود.
دکتر محمدعلی رجب زاده دبیر شانزدهمین همایش انجمن زمین شناسی ایران گفت:پیش بینی می شود نزدیک به هزار نفر از اساتید، دانشجویان و پژوهشگران زمین شناسی در این کنفرانس علمی حضور یابند.
این عضو هیئت علمی دانشگاه شیراز با بیان اینکه دبیرخانه شانزدهمین همایش انجمن زمین شناسی ایران در همه شاخه های تخصصی علوم زمین مقاله پذیرفته است ، تصریح کرد: فقط مقالات پژوهشی ای که دارای نوآوری و داده های پژوهشی جدید بوده اند، مورد داوری قرار گرفته و دبیرخانه همایش از پذیرش مقالات مروری و نیز مقالاتی که بخشی یا تمام آن در همایش دیگری ارائه شده، معذور است.
دبیر شانزدهمین همایش انجمن زمین شناسی ایران گفت: مقالات ارائه شده به صورت سخنرانی و پوستر، در قالب یک لوح فشرده تهیه شده و به همراه گواهی شرکت در همایش به آدرس نویسنده مسئول ارسال خواهد شد.
آب شناسی؛ چینه شناسی، دیرینه شناسی و رسوبشناسی؛ سنگ شناسی و کانی شناسی؛ زمین شناسی اقتصادی و زمین شیمی؛ زمین شناسی مهندسی ؛ زمین شناسی ساختاری و زمین ساخت ؛ زمین فیزیک و لرزه زمین ساخت ؛ زمین شناسی نفت منابع انرژی؛ زمین شناسی زیست محیطی و زمین شناسی پزشکی؛ سنجش از دور زمین شناختی؛ زمین ریخت شناسی و زمین شناسی کواترنری؛ و افق های نو در زمین شناسی (مخاطرات زمین شناسی، زمین گردشگری، نانو زمین شناسی، گوهرشناسی و زمین شناسی دریایی و ...) ازمحورهای شانزدهمین همایش انجمن زمین شناسی ایران می باشند.
همزمان با برگزاری این همایش در دانشگاه شیراز، دانشجوی نمونه زمین شناسی، کتاب سال زمین شناسی، زمین شناس نمونه و زمین شناس پیش کسوت سال هم انتخاب می شوند.
برپایی کارگاه های آموزشی، بازدیدهای علمی و صحرایی و برپایی نمایشگاه تخصصی از دستاوردها، فناوری ها، تجهیزات و محصولات صنعتی مرتبط با علوم زمین شناسی در راستای آشنایی متقابل دانشگاهیان با دست اندرکاران رشته ها و صنایع مرتبط با علوم زمین شناسی کشور از جمله برنامه های جنبی شانزدهمین همایش انجمن زمین شناسی ایران به شمار می رود.
گفتنی است بخش علوم زمین دانشگاه شیراز با بیش از 40 سال قدمت، از قویترین بخش های علوم زمین دانشگاه های کشور است و در پنج رشته؛ زمین شناسی اقتصادی، آب شناسی، تکتونیک، ژئوشیمی و زمین شناسی زیست محیطی در مقطع کارشناسی ارشد و در چهار رشته؛ زمین شناسی اقتصادی، آب شناسی، تکتونیک و زمین شناسی زیست محیطی در مقطع دکتری دانشجو می پذیرد.
