در مراسمی با حضور جمعی از اساتید برجسته حقوق عمومی کشور، استادان، دانشجویان و وکلای دادگستری، از دکتر محمد امامی استاد تمام حقوق عمومی دانشگاه شیراز تجلیل شد.
انجمن حقوق اداری فارس هر سال به صورت دوره ای از اساتید، پیشکسوتان و مولفان برتر رشته حقوق تقدیر می کند.
در این آیین دکتر سیدمجتبی واعظی، عضو هیأت علمی و دکتر ابراهیم عباسی، رئیس دانشکده حقوق و علوم سیاسی دانشگاه شیراز نیز سخنرانی کردند.
شخصیت علمی و اخلاقی برجسته دکتر امامی ، سبک خاص وی در شرح حقوق اساسی و تواضع و فروتنی مثال زدنی وی مورد توصیف و ستایش حاضرین قرار گرفت.
دکتر امامی بیش از ۳۷ مقاله علمی و پژوهشی و ۷ کتاب مرجع در مباحث حقوقی تالیف کرده که حقوق اداری آن ۲۳ بار تجدید چاپ شده است.
اصول حاکم بر تنظیم و انعقاد قرارداد های دولتی ، اصول حقوق حاکم بر روابط مالیه، برررسی موضوعی روند تحولات قانون گذاری مؤثر در شهرسازی ، تصویب و اجرای بودجه در قانون محاسبات عمومی ، ترجمه برخی مباحث کتاب حقوق بین الملل اقتصادی تألیف دوپینیک کارو، عوامل مؤثر در اجرای قرارداد های اداری، مسائل و مشکلات سند و تنظیم قرارداد های بین المللی ، مصلحت گرائی در دادرسی های جزائی و نقش دولت در ایجاد واحد های زراعی در ایران از جمله تالیفات استاد امامی است .
گفتنی است همزمان با این مراسم، دفتر نمایندگی انجمن ایرانی حقوق اداری فارس به عنوان نخستین نمایندگی انجمن ایرانی حقوق اداری در کشور افتتاح شد.
