Appointment of Two Shiraz University Professors as Associate Members of the Academy of Sciences


 

Dr. Afsaneh Safavi, Professor of Chemistry at Shiraz University, and Dr. Ahmad Sheikhi, Professor of Physics at Shiraz University, have been appointed as associate members of the Academy of Sciences.

According to the Public Relations Office of Shiraz University, this appointment was made during the 139th General Assembly of the Academy of Sciences held on May 9, 2024, with the presence of Dr. Zolfi Gol, Minister of Science, Research, and Technology, and other members of the Academy. Dr. Safavi and Dr. Sheikhi have been appointed for a four-year term.
