دکتر حمیدرضا پورقاسمی ، به عنوان تنها استاد ایرانی و یکی از 5 دانشمند برتر زیر 40 سال آکادمی علوم دنیا در (TWAS-CASAREP) انتخاب شد.وی هم اکنون به عنوان... دکتر حمیدرضا پورقاسمی ، به عنوان تنها استاد ایرانی و یکی از 5 دانشمند برتر زیر 40 سال آکادمی علوم دنیا در (TWAS-CASAREP) انتخاب شد. وی هم اکنون به عنوان دانشیار بخش مهندسی منابع طبیعی و محیط زیست در دانشکده کشاورزی دانشگاه شیراز مشغول تدریس و پژوهش است. آکادمی علوم دنیا (TWAS) با هدف پیشرفت علم در کشورهای درحال توسعه در سال 1983 در Trieste کشور ایتالیا با گروهی از دانشمندان ممتاز دنیا و به افتخار پروفسور Abdus Salam برنده جایزه نوبل از کشور پاکستان بنیان گذاری گردید. در حال حاضر TWAS دارای 1116 عضو از 90 کشور دنیاست که 73 عضو آن از کشورهای درحال توسعه هستند. اعضای TWAS از دانشمندان زیر 40 سال و بر اساس فعالیت های پژوهشی انتخاب و معرفی می شوند. پس از داوری اولیه، 10 دانشمند جوان معرفی و سپس کمیته TWAS از بین 10 پژوهشگر معرفی شده، 5 نفر نهایی را انتخاب و آنها را به مدت 5 سال تحت حمایت های پژوهشی قرار می دهد. نکته قابل برجسته آن است که پژوهشگران برتر در 10 گروه علمی با یکدیگر رقایت می نمایند که دارای تخصص های مختلف اعم از کشاورزی، شیمی، ریاضیات، فیزیک، اقتصاد، علوم پزشکی، بیولوژی مولکولی- سلولی، سیستم های بیولوژیک، علوم مهندسی، علوم زمین و نجوم می باشند. پژوهشگر برتر کشور در بخش کشاورزی ( سال 1395) ، مجری و همکار در 7 طرح پژوهشی ، پژوهشگر جوان دانشگاه شیراز(1397) ، پژوهشگر برتر دانشکده کشاورزی دانشگاه شیراز(1396) ، استاد نمونه آموزشی دانشکده کشاورزی دانشگاه شیراز(1396)، چاپ سه کتاب در انتشارات معتبر بین المللی Elsevier و Springer، 120 مقاله ISI در مجلات معتبر بین المللی، 45 مقاله در مجلات ISC ، داور 51 مجله بین المللی و 22 مجله ملی و راهنمایی و مشاوره 44 رساله دکتری و پایان نامه کارشناسی ارشد ؛ در کارنامه علمی و پژوهشی دکتر حمیدرضا پورقاسمی، این استاد پرتلاش دانشگاه شیراز مشاهده می شود. پروفسور ایزدپناه و پروفسور فیروزآبادی از اساتید دانشگاه شیراز هستند که هم اکنون در TWAS عضویت دارند.
