استاد شیمی دانشگاه شیراز عضو آکادمی علوم جهان شد


دکتر «بهرام همتی‌نژاد» استاد شیمی دانشگاه شیراز و پژوهشگر برجسته کشور، به‌عنوان عضو آکادمی علوم جهان (تواس TWAS) انتخاب شد.

به‌گزارش روابط‌عمومی دانشگاه شیراز، دکتر همتی‌نژاد استاد شیمی دانشکده علوم دانشگاه شیراز، در نشست اخیر آکادمی جهانی علوم برای توسعه علم در کشورهای درحال توسعه (TWAS)، به جمع اعضای این آکادمی پیوست و به‌عنوان یکی از ۴۷ عضو جدید آکادمی علوم جهان (TWAS) انتخاب شد.

آکادمی جهانی علوم (TWAS) یک آکادمی علمی مبتنی‌بر شایستگی است که برای کشورهای درحال توسعه تأسیس شده ‌است. پیش‌از این، تنها ۱۹ نفر از ایران به عضویت این نهاد علمی جهانی انتخاب شده بودند که شامل ۴ نفر در شاخه علوم پزشکی، یک نفر در علوم مهندسی، ۲ نفر در علوم کشاورزی، ۵ نفر در شیمی، ۲ نفر در زیست شناسی، ۴ نفر در فیزیک و یک نفر دیگر در علوم ریاضی بوده است.

دکتر همتی‌نژاد، استاد شیمی دانشگاه شیراز، تازه‌ترین عضو ایرانی فرهنگستان علوم جهان (TWAS) وابسته به سازمان آموزشی، علمی و فرهنگی ملل متحد (یونسکو) است. وی استادتمام شیمی دانشگاه شیراز و از دانشمندان یک‌درصد و دودرصد پراستناد برتر دنیاست. 

دکتر همتی‌نژاد برای نخستین‌بار در ایران، جایزه معتبر جهانی «کمومتریکس‌دان جوان» را در سال 1992 از آن خود کرد و به‌عنوان پژوهشگر برگزیده جشنواره علوم پزشکی رازی (در سال‌های 1382و 1388) و پژوهشگر نمونه علوم پایه کشور ( 1388) معرفی شد. کسب عناوین مختلف ازجمله پژوهشگر برگزیده مراکز تحقیقاتی دانشگاه علوم پزشکی شیراز و دانشگاه شیراز، استاد نمونه کشوری و شیمیدان‌ برتر منتخب انجمن شیمی ایران نیز از دیگر موافقیت‌های او طی سال‌های اخیر بوده است. در کارنامه علمی این استاد دانشگاه، تألیف بیش‌از سیصد کتاب و مقاله دیده می‌شود.
