The ranking evaluation system of the country's journals has been upgraded, according to the public relations report of Shiraz University.
Based on the evaluation of the national journal ranking system under the supervision of the Scientific Journals Commission of the Vice Presidency for Research and Technology of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology, the scientific journals "Advances in Accounting" and "Studies in Children's Literature" owned by Shiraz University have been promoted from grade "B" to "A" in the 1401 evaluation.
Dr. Shokrollah Khakrand, the head of the university's publications department, announced this news and explained the achievements of the scientific journals evaluation unit of Shiraz University in 1401. Currently, Shiraz University owns 20 scientific journals, 9 of which are published in Persian and 11 in English.
According to him, all journals were registered in the journal evaluation system last year (1401), and 19 journals were evaluated. Based on the announced results, 6 journals are ranked "international", 5 journals are ranked "A", and 8 journals are ranked "B". In total, out of the 19 journals evaluated in 1401 compared to 1400, two journals "Advances in Accounting" and "Studies in Children's Literature" have been promoted from grade "B" to "A".
Dr. Khakrand added: These journals have been established in collaboration with the faculty members of Shiraz University with the aim of expanding scientific knowledge and research and publishing valuable research results in specialized fields, and the foreign editorial board members of Shiraz University journals are among the leading scientific figures in the world. He also noted: The articles published in these journals are freely accessible to all researchers and out of this number, 4 journals are internationally indexed which are jointly published by Shiraz University and Springer Publications and indexed in Web of Science and Scimago databases. These journals have a long history of publication and their editors are professors from various universities inside and outside the country.
