محققان به آخرین یافته های علمی درباره سازوکار فیبریلاسیون هورمون انسولین و معرفی دو آنالوگ جدید انسولینی دست یافتند. به گزارش روابط عمومی دانشگاه تهران به نقل از مرکز تحقیقات بیوشیمی و بیوفیزیک ، در حال حاضر یکی از راه های اصلی مدیریت دیابت که به مادر بیماری ها معروف است، استفاده روزانه از هورمون انسولین می باشد ولی فیبریله شدن این هورمونِ دارویی یکی از چالش های مهم جامعه پزشکی است. در فیبریله شدن، در بیشتر بیماری های صنعتی مانند دیابت، پروتئین ها به صورت رشته ای درمی آیند که تا حدودی سمی هستند. در پژوهشی که اخیراً توسط آزمایشگاه شیمیِ پروتئین دانشگاه شیراز، به سرپرستی دکتر رضا یوسفی و با همکاری آزمایشگاه بیوشیمی فیزیکِ، مرکز تحقیقات بیوشیمی و بیوفیزیک دانشگاه تهران انجام شده است، ضمن استفاده از روش های مهندسی ژنتیک و با ایجاد جهش در زنجیره B هورمون انسولین انسانی، دو مشابه انسولینی جدید مقاوم به فیبریله شدن و با زمان اثر نسبتاً طولانی معرفی شده است. هم چنین نتایج این پژوهش نقش دو زنجیره A و B انسولینی را در سازوکار فیبریله شدن این هورمون دارویی به خوبی توضیح می دهد. نتایج این پژوهش در نشریه معتبر Biophysical Journal منتشر شده است.
