Ebrahim Farajzadeh, a graduate student from Shiraz University, won the 7th Simin Health Physics Award.
By proposing a research work titled "Construction and development of a radio chromic dosimeter used for blood dosimetry in blood irradiation chambers", supervisod by Dr. Sadiqeh Sina, Engineer Farajzadeh won this award.
Currently, he is serving as a conscript at Shiraz University at the Radiation Research Center of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering.
It is worth mentioning that this award is offered at the personal expense of its founder, Simin Mehdizadeh Naderi, and with collaboration of the Radiation Research Center of Shiraz University as a way to develop and encourage students academic projects in the fields related to radiation (nuclear engineering, medical physics, nuclear physics, radiology, radiobiology, environmental health engineering, occupational health engineering and other related fields).
