For scientific and academic cooperation, the head of Shiraz University traveled to Senegal, Mali, and Ghana.
According to the Public Relations of Shiraz University, Dr. Mohammad Moazeni, the head of Shiraz University, along with Dr. Hashem Dadashpour, the Deputy Minister of Science, Research and Technology, and the Head of the Student Affairs Organization, and Dr. Mohammad Javad Salmanpour, the Deputy of Scholarships and Foreign Students, traveled to Senegal, Mali, and Ghana to expand international scientific diplomacy.
During the visit to various scientific centers and identification of research facilities and capacities, they held discussions with officials of these countries regarding scientific exchanges. Meetings and discussions with various officials included the head of the Academy of Sciences in Senegal; Ahmed Ali Ambaye (Head of Dakar University); Dr. Gaye and Dr. Claude Nia Frana (Dean of the Higher School of Science Studies in Senegal); Fri Sii (Deputy Minister of Higher Education and Technology of Senegal); Samba Andion Ka (Minister of Rural Equipment and Food Sovereignty of Senegal); Khadijah Diop-Am Booj (Deputy Minister of Education and Training of Senegal); Dr. Breima Kansei (Minister of Science of Mali); Amina Tatror (Minister of Technical and Vocational Education and Training of Mali); Dr. Seydou Golibali (Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mali); Professor Gordon Akanzoin Avandare (Deputy to the head of Gon University for Scientific and Student Affairs); Mr. John Antim Fordjour (Deputy Minister of Education of Ghana); Secretary-General of the Ghanaian Scholarship Organization; Mr. Al Hajj bin Abdullah (Head of the Zongohar Deprived Areas Secretariat of the Office of the President of Ghana); and Professor Ahmad Jyanpour Abdullah (Secretary-General of the Center for Monitoring Postgraduate Studies in Ghana) took place during this trip.
The head of Shiraz University also visited the central library of Dakar University, Al-Mustafa Community University in Senegal, the Clinic in Accra, Ghana, and Gon University during this trip.
