The QS ranking system, in addition to the general ranking of universities, has also evaluated universities at the regional level since 2020.
This is the greatest ranking done for Asian countries and for the first time, Iranian universities have appeared in the 2023 QS Asian Universities Ranking.
There are 12 universities from Iran in the QS 2023 ranking, Sharif University of Technology is ranked 84th in Asia and first, in the nation, Tehran University is ranked 92nd in Asia and second nationally, the Amir Kabir University of Technology is ranked 113th in Asia and third nationally, and Shiraz University is ranked 160th in Asia and fourth nationally.
