در بیست و ششمین آیین نکوداشت اعضای هیات علمی نمونه کشوری که با حضور دکتر منصور غلامی وزیر علوم، تحقیقات و فناوری، دکتر مجتبی شریعتی نیاسر معاون آموزشی وزیر علوم ، دکتر حمید نادگران، سرپرست دانشگاه شیراز و برخی از روسای دانشگاه‌ها در تهران برگزار شد؛ از دکتر ناصر طالب بیدختی استاد دانشگاه شیراز به عنوان استاد نمونه کشوری تجلیل شد.
افتخاراتی همچون پژوهشگر نمونه و برتر دانشگاه شیراز ، برنده مقاله برتر شورای پژوهشی کشور ، برنده کتاب سال مهندسی جمهوری اسلامی ایران ، چاپ و ارائه حدود 270 مقاله در مجلات و کنفرانس های ملی و بین المللی، کسب عنوان مقاله برتر در چندین کنفرانس ملی،
راهنمایی و مشاوره بیش از 250 پایان نامه ی دکتری و کارشناسی ارشد وعضویت در هیات تحریریه ژورنال های معتبر؛ در کارنامه علمی دکتر ناصر طالب بیدختی مشاهده می شود.
دکتر ناصر طالب بیدختی دارای دارای دکتری مهندسی عمران-هیدرولیک از دانشگاه ایالتی اورگان (امریکا) است و هم اکنون در دانشکده مهندسی دانشگاه شیراز مشغول تدریس و پژوهش است.
