The Debut of the Shiraz University Technological Units Development Center’s Activity


The Comprehensive Development Center of Shiraz University has officially launched its activities.

  According to the Public Relations of Shiraz University, after the issuance of the license for the activity of the Development Center of Shiraz University by the Higher Education Expansion Council, calls for the recruitment of cores and technology companies from the Comprehensive Development Center of Shiraz University have been published.

  Dr. Sajjad Taghvaei, Director of Innovation, Technology, and Entrepreneurship at Shiraz University, announced that to expand the university's innovation ecosystem, with the management of Innovation, Technology, and Entrepreneurship of Shiraz University, the University's Growth Center was granted permission by the Higher Education Expansion Council and the activities of this center officially started with the first meeting of the Special Admissions Committee in March.

  He explained that the Growth Center, as part of the innovation ecosystem, is responsible for creating an environment for nurturing and empowering new technology startups. The Growth Center provides specialized services and facilitation to technology units in the formation and growth stages.

  Dr. Taghvaei stated that the priority of deployment in Shiraz University Growth Center is with university technologic units and high technologic levels in specialized fields and with the orientation of professors and graduate students for complementary studies.
