Recently, The Times Higher Education Asia University Rankings 2022 announced Shiraz University among the top 300 universities of Asia.
Starting 2013, Times Higher Education World University Rankings stated assessing Asian universities; and ever since, a report of Asian higher education institutions is annually announced by this ranking system. The Times Higher Education Asia University Rankings uses the same performance indicators as The World University Rankings, but they are recalibrated to reflect the attributes of Asia's institutions.
In the most recent report, 616 universities from 31 countries/regions across Asian continent were ranked, among which 58 institutions were based in Iran, and compared to last year, 11 more Iranian universities have been added to the ranking.
As can be seen in the following list, among all 58 universities in the country, Shiraz University, like university of Tehran, ranked 251-300 among all Asian universities.
