History: The Faculty of Engineering was founded in 1343 in the current location of Engineering Building Number One by enrolling a total of 30 students, 29 males and 1 female. In the past, this faculty consisted of departments of electrical and electronic engineering, computer engineering, materials engineering, nuclear engineering, civil and environmental engineering, and petroleum, gas, and chemical engineering. At present, this faculty comprises the Department of materials engineering as well as the Department of civil and environmental engineering and the remaining departments are divided into separate faculties. Faculty of Engineering accepts undergraduate, graduate and doctoral students and currently 415 people are studying at the undergraduate level, 196 people at the master's level and 126 people are studying at the doctoral level.
