According to the Public Relations of Shiraz University, two faculty members of Shiraz University, Dr. Behnam Kashavarzi, and Dr. Seyed Ahmad Fazl-Zadeh, were introduced and honored as "Outstanding Researchers" at the 24th Festival of Tribute to the Country's Selected Researchers, Technologists, and Innovators.

The 24th Festival of Tribute to the Country's Selected Researchers, Technologists, and Innovators, which took place on Tuesday, December 13, 2023, coinciding with the third day of Research and Technology Week, was held in the presence of Dr. Mohammad Ali Zolfi gol, Minister of Science, Dr. Ahmad Vahidi, Minister of the Interior, and Dr. Abdolhossein Khosrowpanah, Secretary of the Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution, at the International Conference Hall of Shahid Beheshti University and honored selected technologists and researchers in the groups of "Selected Researchers," "Technologists," "University Heads," "Scientific Journals," and "Scientific Associations" were honored. Among them, Dr. Behnam Kashavarzi, a professor of geology at Shiraz University in the Earth Science group, and Dr. Seyed Ahmad Fazl-Zadeh, a professor of aerospace engineering at Shiraz University in the Aerospace group, were introduced and honored as the country's selected researchers.
