In the Name of Allah, the Vanquisher of the Tyrants

Nearly seven months have passed since the beginning of the new season of crimes by the Zionist regime against the innocent people of Palestine. This oppressed nation, which has been under torture, massacre, and savagery by the heavily armed Zionist regime for 75 years.

With the martyrdom of about 40,000 Palestinian women, men, and children, the world has become acquainted with the evil and despicable nature of the Zionist regime. Now, all over the world, and even in American universities, the cry for Palestinian freedom and the end of the massacre and genocide of the Palestinian people is echoing. Now, at this historic moment, when the whole world is witnessing the sham of Western freedom and democracy with its unwavering support for the Zionist regime and the brutal suppression of students who want the freedom of Palestine, we, the professors and students of Shiraz University, while once again condemning the crimes of the Zionist regime, express our deep solidarity with the awakened and free-thinking academics of the United States and declare that your sacred goal and path have captured the hearts of the people of the world today and have shown that the issue of Palestine belongs to all the free-spirited people of the world.

We also call on the professors and students of other Iranian universities and the academics of Islamic and non-Islamic countries to continue this courageous movement, to strengthen their position on Palestine and express it with an even louder voice, and to demand that their governments cut off the economic and political arteries of this impure regime. In addition, we call on our Government and our Ministry of Foreign Affairs to deliver the message of support of Iranian universities' professors and students in this liberating movement of American universities through their active diplomacy and bring it to the attention of these students and of all people of the world.
