Dr. Ismaeal Ghavanloo, an associate professor at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at Shiraz University, has been introduced as an outstanding young researcher in the field of Mechanical Engineering in the country.
According to the public relations office of Shiraz University, during the eleventh ceremony, honoring outstanding young researchers in the field of engineering organized by the Academy of Sciences on the eve of Youth Day and Engineer's Day, Dr. Ismail Gavanloo, an associate professor of Mechanical Engineering at Shiraz University, was recognized and appreciated as an outstanding young researcher in the field of Mechanical Engineering in the country for the year 1402.
It is worth noting that each year, the Engineering Sciences Group of the Academy of Sciences of the Islamic Republic of Iran awards the Outstanding Young Researcher Prize to the top researchers in various engineering fields in the country (under the age of 40) based on their educational, research, technological backgrounds, and valuable services. As announced by the Academy of Sciences of the Islamic Republic of Iran, in 1402, Dr. Ismail Gavanloo, a faculty member of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at Shiraz University, was selected as an outstanding young researcher in the field of Mechanical Engineering in the country.
Dr. Ismail Gavanloo, an associate professor at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at Shiraz University, has so far successfully published 90 articles in reputable international journals, presented 39 papers at international and national conferences, executed 2 research projects, authored and edited two volumes of books published by Springer, obtained a national patent, and become a member of the editorial board of more than 10 international journals. Among his most notable achievements are his inclusion in the list of top two percent scientists in the world from 2019 to 2022, winning the Best Scientific Book Award from the Permanent Committee on Scientific and Technological Cooperation of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (COMSTECH) in 2021, being the supervisor of the best undergraduate thesis in Mechanical Engineering in the country (Iranian Society of Mechanical Engineers) in 2018, being the top researcher in Fars Province in 2016, being the top researcher at Shiraz University in 2015 and 2019, and being selected for the Kazemi Ashtiani Project by the National Elite Foundation in 2013.
