The International Olympiad of University Students in Statistics which was held at Shahid Beheshti University with students from 12 countries came to an end where Ms. Zohre Zare from Shiraz University won the silver medal.

She also received a special prize for being the first female to have reached such an honor.

Zohre Zare is a bachelor’s degree student at Shiraz University in applied statistics.
