Members from the Shiraz University Administrative Board met with delegates from the Chinese Academy of Science to discuss matters concerning mutual cooperations between the two.
During this meeting, which was held at the Shiraz University Chancellor’s Office, the Vice Chancellor spoke a few words on the historical connection between the two nations and insisted that Shiraz University is ready to expand its connections with Chinese scientific institutions in all areas.
Dr. Safavi added that Shiraz University, which was essentially established as an international university, has focused on the implementation of these MoUs rather than merely concentrating on increasing the numbers and statistics.
Also, Dr. Azimifar, Head of the International Affairs at Shiraz University, counted out the different fields in which the two sides can establish an agreement of mutual collaboration.
Dr. Enge Wang, Vice President of CAS, stated his fondness of the visit to Shiraz and added that their academy is completely ready to expand their collaborations with Shiraz University in different fields, such as computer scanning and joint laboratories.
The Chinese Academy of Science is a leading academic institution which plays a prominent role in the development of science and technology in China.
