My name is Reza and I was born in Shiraz, a beautiful and historical city of Iran.
I pursued a joint PhD degree in signal processing and bioelectrics from the Institut National Polytechnique de Grenoble (INPG) in France and Sharif University of Technology in Iran. I am currently Associate Professor of the Department of Computer Science at Shiraz University and a Senior Member of IEEE.
My major is statistical signal processing and my research interests include blind and semi-blind source separation, estimation theory, and signal/system modeling, especially for biomedical applications. I also have collaborations with industry on software defined radio and fetal cardiac monitoring systems.
