The Shiraz University Managerial Board sat down with the Rectors of several major Hungarian universities to discuss future collaborations and a joint MoU. The Budapest University of Technology and Economics, Eötvös Loránd University and Kaposvar University were the Hungarian universities who signed the joint MoU with Shiraz University.

Dr. Khaghaninejad, Head of the Department of Academic & International Cooperations at Shiraz University, stated that this joint MoU has been arranged to boost student and scholar exchange programs, joint courses, Persian learning programs, online courses development, promotional programs for academic and scientific purposes, and joint research programs.

Dr. Khaghani also pointed out the potentials at SU and insisted on the capacities available for the development of joint international collaboration.

The Deans of faculties at SU were also present in the meeting to discuss future collaborations with the Hungarian delegation (9 Hungarian universities altogether).

The Hungarian delegation also had several meetings with other universities in Shiraz as well as the Islamic World Science Citation Center (ISC) to negotiate future academic and scientific collaborations.
